For those looking to book cheap flights, red-eye flights are one of the best options. This is one of the oldest backpacker’s tip – an overnight red-eye flight can save you a lot of money. The only thing you will have to take care of is the packed flight, which you can really not avoid.
Even though red-eye flights are cheap but the travel can be really exhausting at the end of the trip. So, to make sure that you get through the journey, we will tell you a few things you need to do and take care of.
Follow Nighttime Routine
It may seem pretty obvious but it is no ordinary advice. Restrict yourself of catching up on the night time entertainment. Follow your nighttime routine. Settle in the flight. Recall your bed-before routine at home and simply follow it.
As we mentioned before, pack some snacks! Avoid liquids and gels. Plus it’s a healthy option. We believe that in-flight meals typically loaded with salt that can make you bloat or dehydrate you. Just make sure that you grab a bite before you take the flight!
Carry cleansing wipes so that you can remove the makeup! Also, to reduce the night time smell. Pack some soothing aroma oils too.
As we said before, follow your night routine. Read watch a small show or pack yourself some nice bed-time tea that you prefer. Blue light makes it harder to sleep, just remember that!
Even you’ve eaten fruits or anything, make sure you are brushing your teeth. Before sleeping in a red-eye flight or be it, any flight just make sure you carry a disposable (preferably bamboo) and pre-pasted so that you are not dirtying the lavatory. Just make sure that you never use the tap water. Always carry the water-bottle.
Even though we agree that plane seats are a little uncomfortable and it will never be the same as your bed. But you can always carry a few travel accessories that will make your journey a little comfortable. Carry a supportive neck pillow, a soft cardigan, fuzzy socks and a big scarf that can double as a blanket. An eye mask and earplugs can also help you a lot!
