Jamaica introduces online immigration & customs declaration form

There is good news for travellers going to Jamaica. In order to reduce the wait and processing time at the international airport, Jamaica has now introduced online Immigration and Customs Declaration form (C5). With the introduction of the form, the passengers will have access to more seamlessly processing through immigration and customs on the island. 

How does it work? 

The online form will have to be completed by the passengers prior to their travel to Jamaica after they have booked flights & holidays to Jamaica. This will rule out the necessity to physically fill the form at the airport when they arrive. 

There is not much of a difference between the online passenger declaration form and current paper form. It will have the same details. Once the online form is completed, it has to be submitted to immigration officers and customs officers. When they arrive at the airport in Jamaica, they are processed by designated officers.

The filling of the form online is very user-friendly and requires minimal effort. Once you click on one of the boxes, it moves you onto the next option.
