Today you journey inland toward Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle.

Originally built as a royal palace in the 5th century, the site features beautiful frescoes, water gardens, and panoramic views from the summit.

In the afternoon embark on a jeep safari in Minneriya National Park, famous for its large gatherings of wild elephants.

After breakfast travel toward the historic city of Kandy.
